Zillertal Dairy Show
The Zillertal Dairy Show is situated in Mayrhofen and is already clearly visible from a distance, because the roof of the building is adorned by colorful figures of cows to greet visitors in a beautiful lush meadow. The spacious facility houses a production plant that can be visited, a milk bar and an inviting restaurant, with an expansive terrace view of the scenic mountain landscape. Zillertal railway
The Zillertal Railway is one of the most famous historic narrow gauge railways in the world. The introduction of a long-Zillertalbahn solution for the local traffic problems appeared in the 1860’s. Today, they transported their guests with snorting steam right across from Jenbach to Mayrhofen Zillertal and thus not only gives fans the opportunity to enjoy an eventful trip to the magnificent mountain backdrop.
The train runs daily in summer and in winter four times a week. |

Gold Mine
The Zillertal Gold Mine is a great destination for the whole family, which promises a great entertainment. Visitors can check the depth below ground on the economic development and 350 years of gold mining history in Austria. Apart from the smallest and the largest crystal in the world you can admire an impressive wall that was made of 12 tons of crystal stones. Underground adventure shows in crystal chambers of wonder, a water-spouting head at the entrance and many other attractions kidnap jewelry lovers in a world of luxury but also in the fascinating for Andre Heller’s 100th anniversary of Swarovski. Krimml Waterfalls
With a height of 380 meters and the "European Diploma for Nature Conservation" this remarkable wonder of nature is the fifth highest waterfall in the world. The Austrian Alpine Club has created a beautiful trail, the visitors may take so that they may get as close as possible to the waterfall so that they can feel the cool spray of water on the skin. A breathtaking look at the stunning scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park makes this trip an unforgettable experience. The trail is open from mid-April to late October.
